Apply to be a SSAP Coordinator

The Student Sustainability Ambassadors Program (SSAP) is a network of like-minded students interested in sustainable action and a hub for collaboration at McMaster University. It was created in January 2020 when it was identified that McMaster sustainability initiatives often work in silos. SSAP aims to break down those barriers and increase collaboration. The program is operated by McMaster’s Academic Sustainability Programs Office and Hospitality Services.

The structure of SSAP is as follows: 6 volunteer SSAP Coordinators meet weekly and are responsible for achieving SSAP’s objectives. To achieve SSAP’s objectives, SSAP consists of the following deliverables: 2 annual celebrations/events (1 Fall, 1 Winter). Encouraging clubs to engage and promote their work through Instagram Group Profile and SSAP events, building a SSAP – affiliated verification program.
